Madonie Region, Palermo Province, Sicily

According to my learned friend Grace Lancieri Olivo, there are 14 'subdivisions' of the Palermo province. (Grace edits the Comunes of Italy magazine.)
Petralia Sottana is in the subdivision called "Madonie". This page
provides links (including surname sites) for some of
the larger towns.

These links provide a sort of "armchair tour" of the region, so you can get a feel for this area of Sicily. In the eighteen months that I've been maintaining
this site, many more images and articles have become available.
I am very happy to see this trend.
